Denver Broncos star wide receiver Wes Welker has been suspended four games due to a positive test for amphetamines, according to multiple reports.
Welker, the star slot receiver who was acquired by Denver from the New England Patriots, tested positive in May, according to reports.
He appealed the suspension, which he lost Tuesday, according to reports.
An NFL official declined to comment on the matter.
An attempt to reach the Broncos for additional comment was unsuccessful.
