Pippa Middleton and Nico Jackson

A source shot down rumors that Kate’s younger sister is engaged to marry Nico Jackson, whom she’s been dating for about a year. This means we can stop obsessively checking our mailboxes for a wedding invite – but our hope for another Middleton happy ending is just as strong as ever.
Her sister’s big day is still universally referred to as “the royal wedding,” so we know the pressure will be on for Pippa when the time comes. (It’s also the day we started believing in love, so, again, no pressure!)
Sure, she has big shoes to fill. Alexander McQueen heels, to be exact. But we know she has what it takes to follow in the footsteps of Kate when she chooses to tie the knot with a prince charming of her own. And it will be royally awesome because …
1. She Can Pull Off a White Dress

Not much could take our eyes off of Prince William’s leading lady on April 29, 2011 – but we couldn’t help but notice the younger Middleton (and her enviable backside!) looking white hot in her own ivory McQueen number.
2. Actually, She Can Pull Off Anything
Whether she’s rocking printed pants or buttoning up in a skirt suit, Pippa’s wardrobe selections are fit for a queen. Nico, we’ll just be honest: We have a major style crush on your lady – and this is great news for any prospective bridesmaids.
3. Speaking Of: Does This Mean We’d Get to See Kate in a Bridesmaid Dress?!

Back in 2011, Pippa rose to the occasion as Kate’s maid-of-honor. We’re hoping the royal would return the favor, which means she’d have a major bachelorette party to plan.
4. And We Know She Knows How to Party

Fun runs in the family for Pippa, whose parents own a successful party-favor business. Just last October, she penned a book about party-planning, Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends, which she dubbed as a “comprehensive guide to home entertaining, based on my experience in my family’s party business, Party Pieces, and work for London-based events company, Table Talk.” We’re just saying: If we score an invite when the time comes, we’ll be sure to bring our dancing shoes.
5. We Really, Really Want to See Pippa Get Her Happy Ending, Too

In our most shameless dreams, she’s riding off into the sunset with Prince Harry. Either way, we’d just be happy to see Tatler‘s 2008 “Top Society Singleton” finally have her true fairy-tale moment. On that note, Lifetime, get ready!
