El conductor publicó un mensaje en su Twitter que algunos clasificaron como ofensivo y discriminatorio

Lo que surgió como un comentario que pretendía ser simpático, resultó en todo lo contrario. El conductor Ryan Seacrest escribió en su Twitter un mensaje sobre la nominación de Demián Bichir al Oscar que provocó molestias entre quienes lo consideraron discriminatorio.
“La historia de Demián Bichir es increíble… el chico se mudó a Estados Unidos desde México y estaba haciendo guacamole. Ahora está nominado para un Oscar, inspirador”, escribió el conductor el pasado domingo mientras se llevaba a cabo la alfombra roja.
En la cuenta de Seacrest no tardaron en aparecer comentarios de seguidores a quienes no les gustó el comentario, por entender que Seacrest ignora la trayectoria de Bichir. Lo consideraron como algo ofensivo.
Más de un seguidor colocó en la cuenta de Seacrest enlaces a páginas web que resumen la trayectoria de Bichir. “Hey Ryan, lee esto y despues habla sobre Bichir”, indicó una seguidora. “Investiga sobre Demian Bichir. Es un actor con más de 20 años de experiencia”, escribió otra, en un mensaje que incluyó un par de palabras altisonantes.
Cabe aclarar que el mismo Bichir, en su discurso de apertura en los Premios SAG, bromeó diciendo que vino a Estados Unidos, y que aprendió a hacer buen guacamole.
