José Luis Rodríguez “El Puma” cocinó una “Pumarepa” y agradeció a Ferrell haber contratado a su hija en el filme Casa de mi padre

Will Ferrell y Génesis Rodríguez cocinaron risas esta mañana en el programa de Univisión Despierta América a donde llegaron tempranito para promover su película Casa de mi padre, en la cual también figuran Gael García Bernal, Diego Luna y el recientemente fallecido Pedro Armendáriz Jr.
El dúo intentó cocinar arepas en la cocina del programa junto al conductor Raúl González. Pero fue el padre de la actriz quien dio las lecciones de cocina. José Luis Rodriguez “El Puma” se enrolló las mangas y explicó cómo se hacía propiamente la comida oriunda de su natal Venezuela.
Mientras El Puma cocinaba su “Pumarepa”, le dijo unas palabras en inglés al actor estadounidense.“Gracias por emplear a mi hija en tu película”, dijo. Raúl González aprovechó la ocasión para hacerle otra pregunta a Génesis.
“¿Génesis, les pagó bien?” preguntó González.
“Excelente”, respondieron casi a unísono padre e hija.
Ferrell por otro lado bromeó, “Sí, excelente, [le pagamos] con almuerzo”.
La película en promoción, Casa de mi padre se estrenará el 16 de marzo en Estados Unidos. Es una comedia que parodia las telenovelas latinas. Narra la historia de familia Álvarez la cual lucha por mantener su rancho. Ferrell interpreta al héroe cómico Armando Álvarez, mientras que Armendáriz Jr, a su coloquial papá. La película cuenta con las actuaciones de Diego Luna al igual que la de Gael García Bernal,quien interpreta a Onza, un temido narcotraficante.
