El modelo puertorriqueño de 23 años es el ganador del concurso, por lo cual aparecerá en la revista People en Español junto a los 50 más bellos del 2012

Ediel Omar Ramos es el Bello 51. El boricua es el ganador del concurso presentado por PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL y Yahoo! En Español. Además de aparecer en la edición de la revista de los 50 más bellos, Ramos obtendrá un cambio de imagen y desfilará por la alfombra roja durante la fiesta de los 50 más bellos. A eso se suma un premio de $5 mil dólares.
“Todavía no lo creo, estoy súper feliz”, dijo poco después de haber visto su foto como ganador a través de Yahoo en español. “Estaba en el gimnasio y a cada momento miraba el website… hasta que vi la foto de mi cara. Allí mismo empezamos a celebrar”.
Ramos, quien pronto terminará un grado en periodismo, busca oportunidades en el campo del modelaje desde que tenía 15 años. Ahora, con 23, espera que, siendo el ganador de este concurso, su cara y su nombre se den a conocer.
“Uno de mis mejores amigos me sugirió que participara, sin tiempo que perder busqué cinco fotos mías y me inscribí. Fue una competencia larga, pero hoy me toca celebrar”.
“Todos vivimos a la espera de una oportunidad para mostrar al mundo nuestro talento y el deseo que nos mueve y da sentido a nuestras vidas. Resultar ganador en una competición como ésta no me brindaría más que satisfacciones y posibilidades dentro del competitivo mundo del espectáculo. Debo ser el bello 51 porque la industria necesita rostros distintos, camaleónicos; gente versátil, dinámica, con gran personalidad; jóvenes con buena apariencia física, saludables y atléticos; y, a mis 23 años, reúno todas estas cualidades”, planteó el modelo al momento de inscribirse en el concurso.
