"Last week, the goal was to make the summer tour," Ryan Seacrest said on American Idol Thursday. "This week if they survive elimination – the prize? Moving into the big mansion. ... Elise was one of the first – along with Hollie Cavanagh and Skylar Laine – to find out she was safe, though Ryan couldn't resist torturing her just a bit.
Jessica was in the second group to be called to the front of the stage. She was also safe, along with Joshua Ledet, though Deandre Brackensick was told he was in the bottom three.
Erika Van Pelt and Heejun Han joined Deandre in the bottom next, while Colton Dixon and Phillip Phillips were declared safe.
In the end, Erika, who showed off a stylish makeover and earned rave reviews from the judges this week, had to sing once more in an attempt to convince the judges to use their one save of the season.
