El famoso diseñador se ahorcó con una cuerda que colgó de su ropero y dejó una nota en la que hablaba de su decisión
Mientras el mundo de la moda sigue de luto por la muerte del diseñador Alexander McQueen, los resultados de la autopsia señalan que su deceso fue por asfixia y estrangulamiento tras colgarse del ropero de su casa en Londres.
La corte de la capital inglesa que lleva el caso aseguró que el modisto de 40 años se quitó la vida en el armario de su apartamento en la localidad de Mayfair y dejó una nota en la que hablaba de su decisión.
Aunque los resultados oficiales de la autopsia del diseñador serán dados a conocer hasta el próximo mes de abril, por ahora no existe ninguna circunstancia que haga pensar que en la muerte hubo manos criminales.
Familiares de McQueen aseguraron que el británico se encontraba bastante triste por la muerte de su madre, que sucedió apenas un par de días antes de que él se quitara la vida y con quien tenía una estrecha relación.
El cuerpo del diseñador fue encontrado en su casa el pasado 11 de febrero por la hermana de éste, Janet McQueen.
Un representante de la casa de modas de McQueen dijo a People.com que aún no han determinado una fecha para realizar el entierro del modisto, pero esperan que sea pronto.
En la reciente entrega de los premios Brit Awards en Inglaterra, la cantante Lady Gaga, amiga del diseñador y quien lució varios de sus modelos, le dedicó los tres trofeos que se ganó y visiblemente afectada le agradeció su apoyo y amistad.
