ESPN FC: United to face The Gunners
Mikel Arteta has revealed he has never seen Arsene Wenger as angry as he was at half-time during Arsenal’s humiliating defeat to Liverpool on Saturday.

The Gunners were 4-0 down after 19 minutes and went on to lose the match 5-1 at Anfield, relinquishing top spot in the Premier League to Chelsea.
And Arteta, 31, who joined Arsenal in 2011 from Everton, says Wenger was furious with his side during the interval after the dismal start his players made to the encounter.
“We know we need to improve and face those games in a different manner because after 19 minutes we were 4-0 down and it was like a car crash. The manager was really upset at half-time, that’s normal because it wasn’t good enough for this football club. It was the angriest I have seen him,” Arteta said.
Arsenal suffered a 6-3 loss to Manchester City back in December, and Arteta has backed the team to bounce back like they did then, beginning with a victory over Manchester United on Wednesday at the Emirates Stadium.
“We have had two big crises already,” Arteta said, referring to the heavy City defeat. “I think the Manchester United defeat was a different game to this, but City and this one are really hard to take. We have to react because there is nothing we can do about this now.”
