Tiger Woods is “a little nervous” about the response to his return to golf, and admitted he has been “living a life of a lie.”

“But then again, when you face it, and you start conquering it and you start living up to it, the strength that I feel now – I’ve never felt that type of strength,” Woods told ESPN in his first interview since his Thanksgiving weekend accident.
Last month, Woods admitted to having had extramarital affairs during a speech made to a select group of supporters and friends in Florida, saying, “I was unfaithful. I had affairs. I cheated.”
“I don’t know, I don’t know, I’m a little nervous about that, to be honest with you. It would be nice to hear a couple claps here and there,” he said.
Woods, who will play at Augusta in the Masters next month, also said his actions have affected many people.

“I was living a life of a lie, I really was. And I was doing a lot of things that hurt a lot of people. And stripping away denial and rationalization you start coming to the truth of who you really are and that can be very ugly,” Woods said.
