Nashville's biggest names invaded Las Vegas Sunday for the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. From on-stage collaborations (Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw) to A-List couples (McGraw and Faith Hill) to the triumphant winners (Taylor Swift, who took home the top prize for Entertainer of the Year), there was no shortage of memorable moments.
Even U2's Bono couldn't resist beaming in via satellite from Dublin to show love for his friend Dierks Bentley, and introduce his performance of "Home."
Check out our recap of some of the best moments – plus results from PEOPLE's reader polls, below.
Best Banter Hosts Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire delivered the best jokes of the night – and they weren't afraid to make fun of each other or take aim at the nominees."I remember back when you were just a life-support system for a mullet," McEntire cracked, referring to Shelton's unfortunate hairstyle from the '90s.
"Right," Shelton replied. "I didn't get a chance to see you [perform] a lot of your early career ... until we got the History Channel." (Can we please book them to host the Oscars next year?)
Most Romantic Moment The on-stage matrimony of Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci, who met in a support group after each of their first spouses passed away. The couple exchanged vows on stage to Train's wedding favorite "Marry Me," which was performed by Pat Monahan and Martina McBride.Best Performance Toby Keith stormed the MGM Grand audience for a rousing rendition of his hit drinking song "Red Solo Cup," which had everyone from Faith Hill to Eric Church singing along. Even Vegas comedian Carrot Top grabbed the mic to sing a few bars – points for viewers who spotted Wayne Newton dancing in the crowd.Cutest Moment A beaming Shelton introduced "the most important person in my life," his wife Miranda Lambert, whom he proudly called "Miranda Lambert-Shelton," before her performance. Awwww!Biggest Punching Bag Poor Tim Tebow! Not only did Shelton tease Taylor Swift for her rumored romantic ties to the football star, and the Broncos for losing the QB, but Brad Paisley couldn't resist "Tebowing" with his electric guitar during the commercial lead-in to his performance. Most Outlandish Presenter Ashton Kutcher, who presented the Female Vocalist of the Year award, did his best to pose as a Nashville star, replete with a ten gallon hat, which he pulled down low over his brow. "And to all you ladies who aren't going to step on the stage, I'd like to sing a little song," he said, before awkwardly crooning a few bars of George Strait's "I Cross My Heart."Kutcher, however, won readers over with his appearance, taking the PEOPLE reader poll 49% over LL Cool J's 43% as the "favorite country music wannabe" of the night. (Sorry KISS and Marc Anthony)
