The state’s first cat café, called Catfe, is opening in L.A.’s Chinatown neighborhood in October, according to LA Weekly – and it sounds like the service there is going to be cat-tastic.
Besides coffee, tea and other drinks, there will plenty of felines to pet and even adopt if you’re over 18, says the magazine.
Catfe is the brainchild of Carlos Wong, who created a Kickstarter campaign earlier this year in hopes of bringing coffee and cats to the masses in the United States. According to LA Weekly, he partnered with Chinatown BID and Best Friends Animal Society L.A. for the venture, which will also feature costumed maids and deejays.
Be sure to cat-ch the feline madness while you can: the café is only open Oct. 2-5.
