Dina Eastwood, 48, on Monday filed for a separation from the actor-filmmaker, 83, in Monterey County Superior Court, the Monterey County Herald reports.
In her petition, the former television broadcaster who starred in her own E! reality show, Mrs. Eastwood and Company, seeks physical custody of the couple’s daughter together, Morgan, 16, as well as spousal support.
She further requests that legal custody be shared and that her be petition be amended on future property issues “pursuant to a premarital agreement,” according to legal documents, says the newspaper.
The couple, who married in 1996 and lived previously in Carmel, Calif., had been living apart for several months. As word of their breakup hit the news, Dina defended her husband, urging fans not to say anything bad about her ex.
Clint, meanwhile, has been staying in Los Angeles where he has been directing a film adaptation of the Broadway hit Jersey Boys.
Prior to their separation, the Eastwoods were each respectively dating former spouses, Scott and Erica Fisher.
