The Lakers are trying to win their last game before the All-Star break, but they're not succeeding at halftime.
The Lakers trail Oklahoma City, 46-43, after a remarkably bad last-second sequence for the visitors Thursday at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
The Lakers allowed five points right before halftime, a three-pointer by Russell Westbrook with 0.8 seconds left and a 15-footer by Kevin Durant after he stole a lazy inbounds pass by Andrew Bynum.
Other than that, the Lakers (20-13) played well enough to be leading. Pau Gasol had 13 points and the Lakers' defense forced nine turnovers in the first half.
Kobe Bryant, however, had 10 points on lackluster four-for-13 shooting.
Durant had 20 points for Oklahoma City (26-7), which is 14-1 at home this season.
The All-Star Game is Sunday in Orlando.
