There's a reason you don't see Lea Michele stumbling out of clubs. After her grueling days on the Glee set, the actress prefers to hit the couch with her cat."Do I have a wild side? Well, I do have 14 tattoos," the actress tells Prestige Hong Kong.
"But I also do come home every single night and watch reality TV with my cat. I'd say for the most part I'm a very outgoing person. I have a lot of energy. I love being around people. But I'm not wild in the sense of 'going out' wild."
It seems the 25-year-old star, who has a cat named Sheila, would much rather put her energies toward something meaningful, like animal rescue. Recently, she took it upon herself to reach out to PETA in hopes of being useful in some way.
"I was just living in New York and went onto their website one day and said I would like to help and they contacted me," she says. "The point is that anyone can do it. I have such a passion because I adore animals so much."
That passion can't help but spill over elsewhere in her life. She's helped match Glee castmates Harry Shum and Heather Morris with loving furry companions.
And, she's even got a knack for names. When Mark Salling introduced his new Australian cattle dog Noah Saw Salling last September, she Tweeted, "I helped Mark pick the name."
