Police say they have found the bottle-green Lexus GS300 owned by Alisa Dmitrijeva – the young woman found dead in Anmer, England, near Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham country estate – and are examining it for clues in her murder case."Work is currently being carried out on soil and debris samples found in the car to identify the pollen and spores in them," says detective chief inspector Jes Fry. "These will then be compared with the results from the samples taken at Anmer."
The tests will take several weeks. "If a link is identified, it could be a significant step forward in the enquiry," Fry said.
Dmitrijeva, 17, was last seen in the Lexus last Aug. 31. Her body was found by a dog walker in Anmer on New Year's Day.Police and Dmitrijeva's family have appealed to the public for help in finding the woman's killer.
