In this exclusive trailer for the FX motorcycle drama that will kick off its seventh and final season next month, SAMCRO President Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) growls that he’s already lost his wife, Tara, and “he’s not going to lose his club, too.”
As has been the case for every jaw-dropping season of the outlaw biker series, it appears that heads will surely roll as Jax seeks vengeance for the violent stabbing death of his wife in the season 6 finale.
And there’s a new sheriff in town, quite literally: Annabeth Gish (Brotherhood, Mystic Pizza) joins the cast as Sheriff Jarry, who figures out rather quickly that the fictitious town of Charming isn’t the most trouble-free place on the planet. Courtney Love, Lea Michele and Marilyn Manson also are also expected to guest-star.
Sons of Anarchy returns Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
