Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise‘s 8-year-old daughter reunited with her pup, Honey, on Wednesday with the help of the aptly named Lucky Puppy Rescue and Retail.
The recently adopted pooch reportedly escaped from a friend’s yard in Beverly Hills on Sunday and was not wearing a collar because she was taking a dip in the pool.
According to TMZ, Suri and family feared the worst as little Honey was lost in an area known to have coyotes.
On Wednesday, Lucky Puppy posted a Facebook photo of Honey (apparently once known as Maple) with a veterinarian affiliated with the not-for-profit pet store. The organization deemed her to be Suri’s pooch after scanning the dog’s microchip.
No word on what happened at the Suri-Honey reunion – but we can only imagine it was adorable.
