Con la participación de un equipo multidisciplinario de especialistas, en el Hospital Juan María de Salvatierra se realizaron 2 cirugías de trasplante de riñón que resultaron exitosas.El director del Hospital, Carlos Arriola Isais, dijo que se efectuaron con éxito los trasplantes de riñón, de donador cadavérico, cuya evolución de los pacientes receptores es favorable, por lo que serán dados de alta en los siguientes días.
''Se conformó un grupo multidisciplinario compuesto por 40 especialistas, para realizar la operación en el donador, una parte de los especialistas y otra para la cirugía del trasplante al paciente receptor del órgano'', explicó.
Dijo que se impulsarán los trasplantes en el presente año, donde se tienen ya siete procedimientos avanzados en sus correspondientes protocolos para realizarse el trasplante programado, entre donador vivo y receptor.
El equipo multidisciplinario indicó que la donación de riñón fue para una mujer, de 33 años, y un varón, de 38 que tienen ahora una nueva oportunidad de vida.
Por último, llamaron a la población para registrarse como donadores cadavéricos, toda vez que existen en lista de espera 28 pacientes y 30 más han iniciado su protocolo para quedar inscritos en este padrón que cada día incrementa.
