La cuarta entrega de la saga incluye una promoción que evoca la cinta muda francesa protagonizada por Jean Dujardin y Bérénice Bejo

Se acerca el estreno de la cinta Ice Age: Continental Drift y su promoción llega muy al estilo de The Artist, filme mudo francés que ha recibido numeras distinciones en esta temporada de premiaciones, y que apunta a ser la gran ganadora en la próxima entrega del Óscar.
Scrat, la ardilla prehistórica sigue tratando de recuperar su avellana y reaparece para esta cuarta entrega. En el adelanto promocional que presenta 20th Century Fox se le observa muy desesperado al pobrecito, en escenas que se distinguen por ser en blanco y negro, con música instrumental de fondo. Como título de presentación lleva The Scratist, en referencia obvia a The Artist.
En el contexto de esta nueva historia, los personajes utilizarán un iceberg, a modo de nave, para realizar un viaje a través de los océanos.
El estreno de la cinta en Estados Unidos está pautado para el próximo 6 de julio.
