Dos horas de baile marcaron el inicio de la competencia que promete estar muy reñida; el actor cubano obtuvo la tercera puntuación más alta

William Levy le puso el sabor latino a la nueva temporada de Dancing with the Stars (ABC), que comenzó la noche del lunes con una transmisión de dos horas llenas de ritmo y movimiento.
Las doce parejas de baile llegaron hasta la pista de baile moviéndose por una escalera iluminada, marcando la apertura de la noche.
Donald Driver, un jugador de fútbol; Martina Navratilova, ex jugadora de tenis; Gavin DeGraw, cantautor y Roshon Fegan, actor del canal Disney son algunos de los participantes que completan el diverso grupo.
De un lado de la pista las estrellas que bailan y del otro el panel de jueces compuesto por la actriz y bailarina Carrie Ann Inaba, el coreógrafo Bruno Tonioli y el bailarín Len Goodman.
El trío, luego de observar cada número bailable, hace sus críticas y otorga puntos, hasta un máximo de diez.
Levy tuvo su turno durante la segunda mitad del programa y, como era de esperarse, su físico llamó la atención. En su presentación se refirieron a él como el Brad Pitt latino y al terminar su baile el público fue muy generoso en la cantidad de aplausos.
El jurado se mostró a gusto con la galantería que mostró en la pista, así también como con su ejecución. Obtuvo, junto a su compañera, Cheryl Burke, 24 puntos, que hasta este momento era la puntuación más alta otorgada, pero que luego fue superada con el empate entre la soprano Katherine Jenkins y el comediante Jaleel White, con dos puntos por encima del actor.
La puntuación obtenida por cada pareja se totalizará en conjunto con las votaciones que haga el público. Aun no hay eliminados, así que todos tendrán una oportunidad más de lucirse en la pista antes de que el grupo comience a reducirse.
