Jimmy Rollins led off the game with a double to right-center, advanced to third on a Yasiel Puig groundout and scored when Adrian Gonzalez bounced to short.
Later in the first, Howie Kendrick drew a two-out walk and Carl Crawford drove him home with a triple to right-center.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Waking up: Crawford, vying with Juan Uribe for quietest offensive camp among the Dodgers’ regulars, tripled in a run in the first. Uribe had a fourth-inning single and scored a run. Both brought .225 averages into the game.
Crawford’s RBI triple
LAD@ARI: Crawford knocks in Kendrick with triple
3/30/15: Carl Crawford splits the outfield gap with a long triple, scoring Howie Kendrick and giving the Dodgers a 2-0 lead
Anderson stays grounded: Anderson, Los Angeles’ fifth-turned-fourth starter, stretched out to six innings and needed only 74 pitches to do it, recording outs on 12 ground balls. The Dodgers turned four double plays, including a pair by the new middle infield of Rollins and Kendrick.
Another chance for Lopez: Lopez, a Cuban free agent right-hander, got a chance to make another start for Arizona. Allen Webster had been scheduled to start, but the team optioned him to Triple-A Reno earlier in the day.

Show-and-go: After half of the team spent Sunday flying to and from Hermosillo, Mexico, for an exhibition game against the Rockies, D-backs manager Chip Hale had his players report later than usual to Salt River Fields on Monday morning. Several starters, including A.J. Pollock, Paul Goldschmidt and Mark Trumbo, were given most of Monday off.

Final spot candidates: The D-backs announced their rotation Monday, and if one read between the lines, it appears that would leave just one bullpen spot yet to be decided. Addison Reed, Brad Ziegler, Oliver Perez, Evan Marshall, Daniel Hudson and Randall Delgado appear to have spots locked. That leaves Andrew Chafin, Vidal Nuno and Enrique Burgos fighting for one spot. Starters Robbie Ray and Archie Bradley are also in camp, but it seems the team views them as starters.
WHAT’S NEXT
Dodgers: Joe Wieland, with an outside shot at being a fill-in starter for the injured Hyun-Jin Ryu, starts on Tuesday (1:05 p.m. PT, MLB.TV) against the White Sox at Camelback Ranch in the Dodgers’ last Cactus League home game. The Dodgers will field the majority of their starting lineup, with Andre Ethier starting in center field.
D-backs: Trevor Cahill, who was named to the rotation Monday along with Chase Anderson, starts Tuesday’s 1:10 p.m. MT game against the Rangers at Salt River Fields. Cahill struggled last season, but reworked his mechanics this spring.
