European Under-21 Championship review
Highlights: Netherlands U21 5-1 Russia U21
The Netherlands earn their second straight win in Group B after a 5-1 win against 10-man Russia in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
A late goal from Alvaro Morata booked Spain’s place in the European Under-21 Championship semi-finals as they beat Germany 1-0, while the result also ensured Netherlands join them in the last four.

Germany were dogged against the Spanish at Netanya Stadium, as the reigning champions searched for a breakthrough.
And it did not come until the 86th minute as Morata came off the bench to skip past his marker then beat goalkeeper Bernd Leno at his near post.
Spain’s win means Netherlands are also into the semi-finals after thrashing ten-man Russia 5-1 at Teddy Stadium earlier on Sunday.
After winning their opening game of the tournament 3-2 against Germany, the Dutch eased to a second triumph via five different goalscorers versus Russia.
Georginio Wijnaldum opened the scoring on 39 minutes with a fine strike from outside of the area before Nikita Chicherin’s sending-off early in the second half tipped the game further in Netherlands’ favour.
Luuk de Jong, Ola John, Danny Hoesen and Leroy Fer then wrapped up the success for Cor Pot’s side, while Denis Cheryshev scored a consolation for the Russians, who lost their opening game 1-0 versus Spain.
