Queens Park Rangers midfielder Esteban Granero has said he will not seek a transfer following the club’s relegation to the Championship.

Granero, who moved to Loftus Road from Real Madrid last year, has had limited involvement under Harry Redknapp in recent months and has been linked with a move away.
However, despite the club’s fate having been sealed with Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Reading, the 25-year-old has said he will not ask to leave for a summer move.
“I signed my contract here for four years,” Granero said. “I was not thinking about going to the Championship when I joined but that is the reality now. I like life in London. We now prepare for life next season.
“The club will have to decide, not me.”
Granero has said that there have been numerous causes for the club’s highly disappointing performance this season.
“Many things have happened during the season and we have not been able to get over them,” he said. “It is hard to analyse. It is not just one thing that has gone wrong. It is many things together.
“We hope we learn from that and next season we do it another way. It was difficult for us but let’s finish the season properly for the fans. They have been outstanding for us this season and we have felt them behind us from the beginning.”
