Wright-Phillips, 31, has not played for Harry Redknapp’s struggling Londoners since March 9.
He had been an unused substitute for the defeat at Aston Villa the following week, but was not in the squad for Monday’s game against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
The former Chelsea player posted a picture on his Twitter feed that showed his bandaged ankle, accompanying it with a message that read: “Had my ankle surgery – all went well. Thanx 4 your kind wishes, truly appreciate it all.”
