GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Dodgers’ collection of veteran pitchers continued to grow on Wednesday with the addition of free-agent right-hander Chad Gaudin.
The club annoounced the signing of Gaudin to a Minor League contract.
Gaudin, 32 next month, missed the 2014 season with a neck injury after failing a physical with Philadelphia. In 2013 with the Giants, he went 5-2 with a 3.06 ERA as a swingman who started 12 games.
The Dodgers in the past week have also added pitchers Brandon Beachy and Dustin McGowan on Major League deals to bolster their pitching depth.
Among the veterans in camp on Minor League contracts are Erik Bedard, David Aardsma and Sergio Santos.
